The Guardian
The Guardian
The Guardian takes responsibility for assessing the herd’s safety in any situation. Their well-tuned instincts are trusted to protect the whole group from bad ideas or unsafe situations. When another herd member makes a suggestion, the herd will follow as long as the guardian doesn’t get suspicious. If the guardian alerts the herd of danger, everyone will respond without hesitation. While guardians are leaders in those moments, they prefer to focus on the horizon to keep the herd safe and not bother with the day-to-day details up close. Without a guardian, a herd would obviously find themselves in some sticky situations that could be avoided. If you are a guardian in your herd, then others likely look to you for good innate judgment and your ability to discern complicated issues.
